From November 6 to 8, 2025, multidisciplinary teams from healthcare institutions in Kharkiv and the Kharkiv region will take part in a three-day training course dedicated to modern approaches to the rehabilitation of patients with spinal cord injuries.
The program includes theoretical and practical sessions on international standards for the assessment and management of such patients (ISNCSCI, ISAFSCI, SCIM III), as well as analysis of clinical cases, training in positioning principles, bedsore prevention, selection of assistive devices, and adaptation of the living environment.
The training is conducted under the guidance of an expert training team from the Center for Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Clinical Hospital.
The event is organized by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Ukraine with financial support from the Government of the Republic of Korea in cooperation with the “Rehabilitation of War Injuries in Ukraine” initiative, implemented by the “Patients of Ukraine” Charitable Foundation.
